I did my art training, essentially, back to front! First working as an untrained illustrator for Oxford University Press and Reed International, before setting up my own children's book publishing company, Creative Characters Partnership, with my husband Peter.

After running the business for a number of years, I was accepted on the MA in Children's Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art and graduated in 2007.

I live in Melbourne, Australia with my family and 3 hairless (China, Angel & Jade) and 2 powderpuff (Raffles & Pearl) Chinese Crested dogs.
